Christmas Snow flakes JavaScript
I got this code from this page: https://help.forumotion.com/t101146-christmas-decorate-your-forum
It is no longer working when before it did!
Did the bandwidth run out on the script from the server?
<script src="https://sd-1.archive-host.com/membres/up/37821634957680146/neige/snowstorm.js">
</script>

Re: Christmas Snow flakes JavaScript
Yes I think the script ran out of Bandwidth from the server. However, I would like to get a response from the Moderators or Admin of this forum to confirm it. This is terrible to happen. Completely unprofessional. If you are going to make a script available for people to use you should make sure you have unlimited bandwidth.tasos wrote:me too, i have the same problem

Re: Christmas Snow flakes JavaScript
Thanks Kirk, the script worked good, do you know how I can download the JS so I can add it to my own server ?
Re: Christmas Snow flakes JavaScript
you dont have to download it, just follow the link in my code and it will go to my source page,
http://www.forumsuccessors.com/h76-forumsuccessors-fs-content-snow-plugins-snowstormjs
You can even adjust too, but it is a rather large script, it's from like three or so years ago thats why. i have not have time to do something new so just use that since it still works OK

Re: Christmas Snow flakes JavaScript
Ok thank you that is great. But what I wanted to do was download the JS to my computer so I could upload it to my own server, then I could link to it and add it to my forum. That way I would know it will always be there.
Re: Christmas Snow flakes JavaScript
Funny thing it was working on IE 9 earlier and now it's not but it does work on Firefox

Re: Christmas Snow flakes JavaScript
Hello,
It worked when I posted it. I'll go ahead and fix it. In the meantime, you can Google scripts for this.

It's back but in the interim I found other script. Now my problem is how do I remove Mr. Mario's script, I can't find it where it was installed .
Never mind, I went to basic look and found it where we install under configuration.

Re: Christmas Snow flakes JavaScript
I downloaded my own snowflake JavaScript today and uploaded it to my own server host. Then I linked to it and added it to my forum. It works perfectly and its free. Comes in a zip file.
Here's the link:

Here's the link to my free server host for JavaScript's and SWF files. Its a free hosting service. You can also build websites there. I just use it for what I mentioned above. The server allows remote linking.
