Question about "Update the number of posts option &quot

Update the number of posts from a user and set his number of private messages to 0 :

Does this mean I can set how many posts I or another member has??

That option is to update the number of posts a user has( in case that member made more posts then the number shown bellow his avatar) and it will update the number of private messages to 0 for that member. But you can't set the number of posts a member has.

I dont get it,so if a member posted 340 posts and it only shows 240 posts,you can change it show it shows 340 posts?

Well as far as I know that option will update the number of posts a member has(it will update it to the number of posts it shows in his profile to his actual number of posts, in case those figures are not the same).
