Member Can Not Log In
I have a member who is having trouble logging in. I have check, and her account is activated. It is not in the inactive users list. I have tried using her log in info, and I was able to log in. I also change her password, it did not worked. I deleted her account, and she created a new one. This also did not worked. I told her to use this: http://anonymouse.org ? She said that her PC would not let her use it? Her is email address ends with @gmail.com. Could it be the email address?

Modem & IP Address Reset's |
This may help your member. Reset Steps: Most I.P.S hosts let you reset your IP Address and the servers they are on. To reset your Ip addres & Modem please follow the steps below. Step 1 switch off your modem at the wall. switch off your computer / Laptop and leave for 15 to 20 sec's once you have left your power off this should reset your modem and if you have a rolling ip address this should also be reset. switch your modem on first & give it time to boot up then switch on your computer / Laptop once you have done the first step the next is the settings on your laptop / computer. Step 2 clear your computer of old log files. If your computers windows XP, vista, or windows 7, Click the start menu, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk cleanup, You should see a set of boxes that can be ticked, Click the boxes one by one untill they are all ticked. NOTE: On XP there is a tick box with System Restore files next to it this should NOT be ticked or you will loose your restore files and you will have problems rolling back your computer at a later date. once this step has been done ask your member to try to get on your site again Hope this was of some help Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year Written by Ape |
