How do you create an "application" on Facebook? I have an account but have no idea what to do from there.

Well I tried to create a new application on Facebook but it wanted either my mobile phone number or a credit card number in order to create it..LOL

What a mess Facebook is. I created an account there over a year ago and never use it. I really don't like facebook at all but thought it would be nice to have a login button on my forum so people can use there facebook account to login to the forum. Guess they want too much in order to make that happen. No way am I giving Facebook (hack city) the info they desire.

the rules of facebook changed you must enter your phone number

It specifically asked for my "mobile" phone number and I don't even have a mobile phone. Facebook has nothing on file about me, no phone numbers or credit card numbers. Why they would want that I have no idea. I'd have to be a fool to give Facebook that info, and I ain't no fool.

I have deactivated my facebook account again, the way I left it a year ago. I only reactivated it today to try and get the app number for the forum. But that didn't fly so I deactivated it again, and that's the way it will remain, Geez I hate facebook..lol

This topic can be deleted as far as I'm concerned. what a waste of time thinking about facebook was. I should have known better. As far as I know someone was trying to hack me to get my credit card number. It wouldn't surprise me at all.

sorry my friend but if you dont want give your phone number to facebook you cant create this application

Yes I realize that. I'm done with the idea and want nothing to do with facebook.

I don't want to give them my phone number OR my credit card number.
