I realize domain transfers are suspended for the time being, but I would like to request the power to control the nameservers for the domain that I own, so I may use my domain with another web host.

Please get back to me on how I can do this.

I believe it's not possible of what you want. You'll have to have credits to buy a domain for the other web hoster.

Regarding your question, if you purchased your domain name here at Forumotion, then it is not possible to transfer it at this time.
If you're currently using an externally purchased domain name that you used for your Forumotion forum, there may be a way to do this (my apologies, but I'm not exactly sure how the latter works).

I am sorry to hear this. Seeing as it is legally registered in my name, I can claim it, as supported by the GoDaddy staff I have talked to.
