[Awaiting Admin] Domain Redirection Scam?
Why does mail.clancaos.net redirect to another forum?
If it's hosted on my website, why does it redirect somewhere else? This is annoying and why does it do that?

Hi,
Are you trying to access the mail of your forum from which you get when purchasing your domain?
This is the correct url: http://webmail.clancaos.net
I assure you, ForuMotion, nor it's counterparts, partake in anything Illegal, including running scams of any sorts.
Rest assured, the redirect is to our Spanish counterpart

Can I ask, why are you putting 'mail.' in the URL bar, might be able to clear things up a bit more..?

Re: [Awaiting Admin] Domain Redirection Scam?
I was just testing it, I know webmail.clancaos.net is correct instead of mail.
I'm curious as to why Forumotion plasters random Spanish websites into my domain name.
I didn't pay to have them secretly plaster redirections into my domain name.

Hi,
Someone bought the domain name. This isn't a Forumotion issue.

Re: [Awaiting Admin] Domain Redirection Scam?
Someone bought clancaos.net?
Excuse me, this is MY DOMAIN name.
mail.clancaos.net is FORUMOTION hosting FREE FORUMS on MY PAID DOMAIN NAME.
Don't sit there and tell me that someone bought "mail.clancaos.net"
You're a horrible liar.
That forum has a sub-domain URL and ADS.
Nothing paid about it, Forumotion is hosting other forums from my domain name.
You're trying to cover it up because I caught you.

Re: [Awaiting Admin] Domain Redirection Scam?
It leads to a random PS3 clan.
Why would it do that anyways?
I don't want my PAID DOMAIN to lead to a cheap Spanish forum..

Excuse me, before you straight house point figures at someone for something, why don't you read what I said? I said someone bought a domain name that was close to yours. People are allowed to do this. Maybe you should go argue to the person who bought the domain that's close to yours instead of doing that at Forumotion and blaming someone on me that I don't even have power or anything to cover up. I don't even work for Forumotion, I just help out with support.

Staff here are only here to help you please stop having a go there trying to help you here.
if your Email accounts are getting sent to some other site just ask a Admin to get a tech to look over it or one of the admin's from the french forum. they can test your account and see why it's getting moved to some other page.
99% of the time it could just be a mix up with info on a server and most problem can be fixed in a matter of min's
Thank you.

Re: [Awaiting Admin] Domain Redirection Scam?
I get this forum come up. with the link you posted
http://mail.foroactivo.com/
Like Darren has said, you have to use this link for your webmail.
http://webmail.clancaos.net
Your webmail is not your forum link, and has nothing to do with your forum other then it being your mail boxes that are included with you forumotion domain purchases.
If you going going to go call something out as being corrupt, i suggest you get your facts correct first.
You post your forum link then we'll talk.
If your forum link/domain is redirecting somewhere other then your site, Then it will be handed over to a pro admin to fix.
info added
yeah look.
http://www.clancaos.net/
your forum comes right up my friend
Use the correct webmail address and it will not go to the other forum.
the other forum is their domain and not clancaos.net , Thus your forum link dose not redirect anywhere, So there is no problem here. everything is correct as it should be

Re: [Awaiting Admin] Domain Redirection Scam?
My forum domain works fine.
It's just the fact that Forumotion plasters redirections for free domains secretly using my domain name.

Re: [Awaiting Admin] Domain Redirection Scam?
Whatever?
Your talking about it re-driecting when you are using a incorrect webmail link .Because there is no such link the search engine is finding a link that is similar to it's address, they are completely two different domains, Use the correct webmail link and you wont have a problem.
Thus there is no problem here.
