To add your forum to google, just follow this link :
http://www.google.co.uk/addurl/

In the first field, put your forum's url, and in the second field put wordkeys for your forum

No need to give your password away

Concerning the verification, google will send a bot to make sure the forumis ok (no broken links, etc...)

You'll have to wait... let's say 2 - 4 weeks approximately, but don't worry, until now I haven't seen a single forum rejected

Here's two other tricks to promote your board :

1- Put the address in the Website field in your profile, so you will have a "Forum" button underneath all your posts, so visitors can click on the button to visit your board.

2- There's a "Forum promotion" section where you can post an advertisement message for your board after reading the rules of the section

Don't rely only on Google. Get opportunities to spread your address. Putting the address in your profile and posting an advert post in the Forum promotion of this board are two of them, because people who visit this board visit other members' forums when the address is displayed in their profile and their advert post !
