Lack of administrators

Hi, I am a moderator in my forum for several months now and we have no administrators. We have two, but they haven't been seen for More than six months. Now you can imagine how hard it is for one moderator to run a forum, by oneself. We have over 1000 members signed up, and more everyday. I don't have acess to some things so. The sites getting cramped, and I have no way of fixing it.
Is there a way the forum of forums could make someone administrator or moderator? This forum really need more...
