Email Notifications Contain Non-Working Links
First post on here so please forgive me.
The links sent out in emails from the forum are missing www. before our custom domain name nomadsvw.co.uk. If you click on them they take you to the forum but miss out the following part of the URL that takes them to the correct page.
I now realise that means no-one can activate new membership or reset their password.
Example:
This one is how is it currently sending out email links that don't work: http://nomadsvw.co.uk/t3740p15-ace-cafe-with-clubgti
This one would work:
http://www.nomadsvw.co.uk/t3740p15-ace-cafe-with-clubgti
The forum is: nomads.eurodiscussion.net
Personalized domain name is: nomadsvw.co.uk
The DNS for nomadsvw.co.uk has a CNAME for www.nomadsvw.co.uk to nomads.eurodiscussion.net.
What have I missed?

Hi,
I don't know why they wouldn't be working without the www.
What method are you using to open the links?
Right click & open new tab/window, or copy & pasting.

Re: Email Notifications Contain Non-Working Links
I have tested this error in Firefox and Safari, the problem occurs if I:
* Click on the links in the emails
* Click on the links demonstrated in my first post
* Copying and pasting
* Right click and open
The default DNS look up finds the correct host but truncates the URL.

Re: Email Notifications Contain Non-Working Links
I searched and read a lot of issues that 'might' have been connected, trying them out and checking my setup before constructing what I felt was a sensible support post on what appears to be a support forum.Alex_Eror wrote:Uhh.. try looking up ways to fix it. If not, then PM a staff.
