Missing avatars of all members, why?

Did forumotion carry out any server update recently and unknowingly affected avatars?

My forum members complained about their postings without their personal small pictures or avatars?

On my last check 2 days ago, there were avatars present.

Also, as far as I know, I have not changed anything at the admin panel.

What could be happening here?

Oddly, they return seconds later.

It is a problem that miraculously solved by itself.

Wow, what a weird glitch!!

Sorry for any trouble, just a wonderful read I suppose, this one.

However, I do appreciate some explanation if anyone knows why.
