Promotion

I have done all the promotion things asked in the control panel and i have added my forum to google but nothing ever comes up in a search? How am i to promote my forum if it won't show up anywhere?

You can promote your forum on promotion forums or through forumotion promote section. I also run a promotion forum, check out the Misc. section in Forum Promotion

for google it all depends on activity and how much content the bots are gathering, It helps sometimes to have you own unique domain name as well.
Like something popular but something thats not already taking.

It can take a bit of time for your forum to show up on search engines, this is the natural order of the Internet, it's like sitting at a red light, you can't rush it, it'll go green in it's own time.
