I've also now chucked avatars on the recent topics widget lol.

I've added a Twitter style tagging system, if you type @username in a post it will become a link to their profile. Additionally you'll see their avatar when you hover over the link.

Not long until everyone can enjoy a thanks system just like AvacWebs for completely free.

A number of PM's were sent out on AvacWeb today inviting people to test out the service. After that stage is complete I'll announce it to the public.

Yesterday I shared a new LGBB, which is much better and easier to use. I think you'd all benefit from it greatly. You can take a look here: http://www.avacweb.com/t428-28-create-new-bbcodes-with-new-lgbb

I've now installed the new LGBB on AvacWeb, and made it available to all pages. I now have it parsing the posts, previews, private messages and more. Which means you can use LGBB inside private messages now.

I also made an improvement to our @ tagging system. It still shows the avatar of the user on hover, and now when you click on the tag, you'll see the users profile info inside a pop up. Again, this works inside PM's and topic review areas too.

And lastly, I've gone back to only syntax coloring code blocks which have a language specified using the panda tag rather than syntax coloring them all. This just helps performance-wise. SO if you want your code block to be colored nicely, you should use the panda tag which you can read about in the link above.

Today I finally added small avatars back on to the posts. Fixed the memberlist issue and added a new BBcode called "Inline Quote".

Version 1.5 of AvacWeb Chat was released with the PM feature installed, a few extras and bug fixed and improvements.

People who are still using LGChat should upgrade and begin using AvacWeb Chat now as LGChat will no longer be on my server as of December 1st.

I have decided to create an AvacWeb Chat version 0.5. This will be a slimmed down version with unneeded features removed, in order to work on boards who do not care for all the extra goodies.

My extreme apologies for anyone who has features on there board dependent of AvacWeb. This might include a thanks system, avacweb chat, avatars or just host javascript.

Let me assure you it's not just you, it's everything.

A strain on AvacWebs servers due to AvacWeb Thanks has caused us to go offline and sort out the request issues. We hope to be back up again by the end of the day, however AvacWeb Thanks may remain suspended until further notice.

Yes I have visited your forum LG and I am very impressed with the hard work you have put into it,to make it look different from the other Forumotion forums.
I have also read some of your threads on your forum and found them very helpful. Keep up the good work.

Any idea when it'll be back up? I was using the old FMChat but now they've merged with you I'm back to the old chatbox.

When what will be back up? FMQuery? Well it won't, it's shutdown. You should use Avacweb Chat. It has one on one chatting and separate chat rooms and more, and allows you to go back to an advanced pop up chat.

Oh, I'd like to but sadly when I go to Avacweb I get this "we're currently down" screen and thus can't use Avacweb chat because I can't access the tools needed to switch to it.

If you get that screen when avacweb isn't down, then it means you have javascript turned off in your browser. You can't view avacweb without JavaScript turned on.

Avacweb is not in maintenance at the moment.
Only Avacweb Thanks is, which has shut down until I can sort it out around summer.
