Nav bar drop down menu? Empty Nav bar drop down menu?

Post by TechCraft May 29th 2012, 11:23 pm

Hello, I want to know if I can add this to one of my navigation bar links

Nav bar drop down menu? Web-fragments-admin-top-navigation-bar

I only want one, so I don't want them all to be drop down menus.

Thanks.

You know in forum motions site you have

"Home Portal FAQ Search Create a free forum Memberlist Usergroups Profile You have no new messages Log out [Username]"

I would like something like this;

"Home Portal FAQ Search Create a free forum Memberlist Usergroups Profile You have no new messages Log out [Username] [Drop down menu here]"

Thanks.

You could also add a drop-down list in an announcement or the homepage message.

But the reason why I want a drop down menu on the nav bar is because it's at the top of the page and it's also on every page.

I would just like to know if it's possible on ForuMotion?

You can have an announcement on all pages, too.

I already use announcements for announcements and I have it set to 1 page and scrolling.

Like I say, can I have it on the nav bar or what? That's the question I keep on asking...

Thanks.

I want '1' drop down menu at the end of the nav bar. Not all of it as the nav bar.

I'm grateful for the help but I don't think it's possible as no one can show me what to do.

If you want this type of drop nav the first thing i would install one in a widget or as already been said in the announcements . you would need to place this in a div tag to add css position example

Code:

div id{position:absolute;
top:150px;
}

or if you want it to be fixed :
div id{position:fixed;
top:0px;
}

there hundreds of navbar tutorial online

here one site to check out to give you some ideas what can be done http://www.cssplay.co.uk/

well anyhow once you installed your navbar you then need to hide the default menu bar by css or within the templates
