Help with name colors???

Still new to it. I put this code in <font color="red">Emily</font> rank title. Am I doing wrong??? I'm so lost.. Help please.

Trying to change my name color and I think I'm doing it wrong. I know how to make groups and colors but not names.. Is there a guide for changing name color? I'm just new to it.
