Can't create a forum because a forum already exists with my email? Wait, I shut the old one down though. Help?

I was here a few years ago, and now I want to create a new forum. But when I go and do that it tells me a forum already exists with my email. I think that forum was an rpg forum that I know I shut down. So why do I have this problem?

I believe this was the forum (that I used my email with) that I shut down. http://darksideofnaboo.userboard.net As you can see, it's not there anymore. So is there a way I can create a new forum with my email or do I have to get a new email?
