Forum terms of service
Hi,
The upper part of the "terms of service" on my forum you can't edit you can only add stuff under.
I was reading and saw it says "any message contravening the French laws are prohibited"
Does this really mean French laws as in France?
Or is this some kind of slang like "excuse my french" against bad language.
Sorry if this sounds dumb but I wanted to ask.
And if it is France, can I change that since my forum is in the U.S.?

Re: Forum terms of service
Yes, it means laws in France and French international law. It does not mean that if your forum is breaking any kind of law in another country, that your forum will not be breaking the Terms of Service.

Re: Forum terms of service
Your forum is bound by French law because it's hosted and owned by a French company.

Hi,
Please note that you are also bound to many International laws, such as child-privacy, and copyright laws.
