What does deactivating a user do exactly?

Are they still able to post? Their account still shows up and everything so I'm just wondering what exactly deactivating someone does

When you desactivate an user, it will do the same as if this user would not be registred into the forum.

Yeah, of course.

But, if you doesnt want he can post in your forum, desactivating the account is not the correct way to solve it.

You should ban the account.
