Not exactly sure if this is the information you need but hope this helps, here it goes:

Admin Panel >
Display >
Pictures and colors > Pics management >
Icons for topics (3rd tab)

Here you can change the icon images to what you wish. I use punbb, so not sure if you can do the same following these steps. But I hope it was of some help.
