How to make a user join a group ?

Hi... i want to make a user join a group in my forum. I want to make him a moderator for my forum.. Can someone help me ??

Just go inside the Administrating Panel >> Users & Groups >> Administrating Groups >> >> Add the member.

Here's the way I do it, which doesn't involve going tithe Administration panel. You still have to be the Administrator of the Forum though.

Step one: Click on Groups in the NavBar.
Step two: Click on where it says Moderators. If you aren't in that group, you will have to click the pop up menu labeled, "Which group do you want to join?" this won't make you join the group, but you'll see details of the group.
Step three: Since you are the Administrator, you can moderate Amy group even if you aren't the group moderator. There's a text box at the bottom of the userlist. Type in the Username of the user you want to add to the group.

(Speaking to Mods:) Would it have been ok if I had put the step numbers in bold? Or is bold reserved for moderation edits?

There are some issues doing it this way. For an example: When you remove someone, sometimes the removed member still has the rights of the groups. When you do it through the administration panel, it works correctly.

Ah. You see, I've never seen the groups management page in the admin panel.

What do you mean?

I didn't know I could manage groups via the Admin panel.

What i do is i just go to groups copy there name and add them to the group
