Solved Redirecting an external domain name

Post by Al McAllister October 23rd 2012, 12:01 pm

I followed the instructions fully in my Hostgator C-panel as shown here in FAQ: "Redirect an external domain name that you own to your board"

However the system puts spaces between hashmarks and "forum" (that show up as "20%" in the browser) see here in the "Personalized domain" tab:

http:// forum.soubem.ws

Currently, your forum address is : oportal.umforum.net

How can this be resolved? Thank you.

I followed instructions, did not put "http://". For conveniance I was copying and pasting on the browser from the "personalized domain" tab - which has the spaces... Now when I typed in the domain http://forum.soubem.ws/ it worked fine.

Thanks.
