Only admins can change avatars.

As the title says, I'd like to set it to where users have to use the default image as their avatar until it is changed by an admin.

I know this may sound stupid, but it's going to work with how my forum is.

(The players spend tokens to buy stuff such as avatars.)

there is really no options to do this.

The only thing i can think of would be to first do not allow the avatar gallery.
then to remove the avatar upload options in the template.

To do it that way you would have to be using phpbb2 or punbb version.

It may even be possible to hide/take out through css as well, but i would have to test and explore that to know for sure.

You will still be able to set a default avatar, and when you needed to add one for a member it would be done by a admin via the admin panel.

What forum version are you using?
