Solved Ranking Problem

Post by Eric x3 xD January 4th 2013, 11:07 pm

Hello everyone. I have a issue with my ranking system. I have set up a few ranks for my forum.
Rank Administration User Ranks:
Administrator
Moderator
Banned
Member
Sapphire User
Ruby User
Custom Color User
Bronze User
Silver User
Gold User
Emerald User
Crystal User

I have only 1 moderator at the moment, and under group administration I have set them to my Moderator group. But the rank thinks of them as another rank, Sapphire User, than Moderator. Does anyone know how I can set my Moderator to be Ranked as a Moderator instead of a Sapphire User? I have tried fixing this and don't know how. Thanks.

In case you need this info, my forum link:

Another weird problem is, in all signatures of my members, only admins can see there links. Anyway to fix this too? Thanks.

AP>Users & Groups>Rank administration Click on the little cog wheel next to the Moderator rank, then set as "Special rank". Save

Thanks, but that didn't solve my issue. My Moderator is still under ranked.

In the Group administration, try clicking on the cog wheel next to moderator group, then click on the "Permissions tab". In there tick "Is moderator" for all forums you want them to moderate. (It may work).

The moderator rank is not an automatically rank. You have to go to the member's profile in the administration panel and scroll down to the bottom and assign that rank to the member.

Admin Panel > Users & Groups > Search Users > User Profile (In AP)

Then scroll all the way down and use the drop-down box to assign the rank.

Yes, it's an option in the permissions of each forum/category.
