how to lock your forum?

well, i've been searching, but i didn't find any useful answer. so, the thing is:
my forum will be under a maintenance for a few days and i want to that only admins could log on. and the other members would just see a blank page with text and so on. and so they couldn't see any graphics! is there any code for that?

You can do that in the Administration panel!

Admin panel > General tab > Configuration > "Forum in construction option > Set to yes.

i tried that, you know. but even tho i set that, members can see the logo, background and half of graphics.
