In progress Loss of admin

Our group started up a forum about a year ago. The admin had a sudden illness and unfortunately passed away. We have a number of moderators but the admin password and log in info is not available to us. Is there some way to have the admin privledges passed to one of the moderators?

I think you need like permission from Founder to have his forum.
But wait for some staff to answer this better.
