how can I make
view posts since last visit
visible and available to guest without them logging in?

That is a feature that only registered members can use. Also this will not work for guests because they do not log onto the forum.

You can add the Recent Topic widget.

When your topic has been solved, ensure you mark the topic solved.
Never post your email in public.
