Would you like the new posts in the portal marked somehow?

Last Topics for Portal Empty Last Topics for Portal

I think it would be nice if the list of last topics that can be placed in the portal showed which of those topics had new posts. On the homepage, or through navigating the different forum categories you can see which spots have new posts because they are highlighted in red. It would be nice if the topics in the portal were highlighted in red as well if they have a new post.

Aren't the topics that are scrolling in the 'Latest Topics' already the ones that have the newest posts in them? Or is this something else?

Yes those topics are the most recent ones; however, they don't indicate which ones have a new post since the last time I read that particular thread. Some of the threads in that list I have read all the posts in, others might have new posts in them. So having those threads marked red, or distinguished some other way would be helpful, at least to me. It makes it nice and easy to see which threads I need to take a look at. This would also be helpful here, in this help forum, so I can quickly see which threads have something new in them since I last read them.

i vote yes for this.

coz having a latest pos or new post portals are very useful

instead of going thru all the forum you just click the new post portal

and you can see all the newest post is one page.
