Redirect after login

Is there a place to set where the user is taken after logging in? I would really like the user to be taken back to whatever page they were on when they hit the login button. It seems that no matter where you are, if you hit the login button after logging in you are taken to the home page. At the very least I would rather logging in take them to my portal page instead of the home page, but the best option would be to take them wherever they were. Let me know if this is possible, it not I will add it to the suggestions section.
