Solved Forumotion Bot

Post by JennyorAlice on February 27th 2013, 2:55 am

I know Forumotion has their own 'bot' called 'Forumotion Bot' that posts rules and updates throughout the forum. I was just curious if anyone knew how I could make one of these for my forum?

Just make a 2nd account, add it to the admin group and call it a "bot"

Forumotion does not have a bot that posts. It is just a regular account.

Yes,

Like says its just named "Forumotion Bot" its a regular account. Many sites use the founders account as a "bot" as this avoid complications later when transferring the founder status over.

However it is just an account for official looking purposes. Its nothing special.
