How to remove individual usernames from forums?

Hello!

I have a problem:-

That "Moderators : koolkat96, Beastly" thingy appears in all forums except for only 2 forums.
Is there any way to remove that from there?

Edit the users' permission. ACP >> Users & groups >> Search user >> permission tab

What CJ11 forgot to say is that you'll need to set the moderating permissions again, but not for each user but for each groups. You'll have to make a group with these permissions and add the members you want (eg: koolkat96, Beastly).

Or you can hide the "Moderators" field from:
Administration Panel ~> Display ~> Homepage ~> .Structure and hierarchy ~> Display forum moderators : No.

Click on corresponding to the administrator group
Permissions tab
Uncheck is Moderator
Save.

We are doing it only for the admin group, so moderators groups is definitely not modified.

Do it & check what happens? As, i think the admins groups can moderate based on the permissions in

You are the admin right? Check it yourself, whether you are able to moderate or not.

Where did G moderator thing come in between? Its similar to the Moderator group. No difference.

It all depends on the permissions you give the respective groups.

What do you want to achieve, because I feel you are lost. Ask specific questions as to what you want to do.

Like um, mods can move topics from here to there and they can unlock and lock topics too.

Yes, whatever permissions you gave to the moderator group. Give the same permissions to the G Mod group.

Since a G Mod can moderate the whole forum, I have set the permissions fro g mod to all forums.

Now I have a question... Since now, I can't see the admins and g mods under the forums, I have to show different mods for designated forums. How to add one or two mods for one forum.

For example :- 3 forums - Fun Palace, Member Creations and Introduction Room. And 3 mods :- Beastly, Tweeney and gaLa_LiannEO8.

Now, I want gaLa_LiannEO8 to moderate Fun Palace and Tweeney to moderate Member Creations and Beastly to moderate Introduction Room.

How to do that?

1) See, I have already told you how you should modify so that Usernames/Groups appears on the forum Homepage under the forum as well as they have the permissions to modify.


For Usernames to Appear
Users & groups>Search Users
Click on a username
Permissions tab
Check Is moderator.
Save

For Groups to Appear
Users & groups>Group Administration
Click on corresponding to a group.
Permissions tab
Check Is moderator.
Save

2) You can give permissions to a group, this way it won't appear under the forum name on the homepage.
General>Categories and Forums
Click on a forum name
Permissions tab
Under Moderate: Check whichever usergroup.


Now, you can do as you like.
