Captcha notifification?

Do we have a Captcha virus?

It generally comes up while posting as a guest.

Yes I tried the same post on my forum several times.. and it took several efforts to post it here ..you try it and see what you get

I get the captcha as well on my test forum. I guess its more of a anti spam feature, where bots cannot posts link/urls

Well the forum Admin should be immune to such threats

Yes, i have never seen such a thing ever. I thought, only guests had to go through this captcha. I will bring this to the attention of Leeloo.

I also have this problem and it don't just do it on the video's i get it when testing a post i ran one post and right after that i made a 2nd post and i go the same thing i think this needs to be moved to the need of a tech..

This captcha appears when you post words that are in our "blacklist", which can include many things like words used for spamming, medicines, etc...

To prove that you aren't a bot, you need to fill this captcha.

I guess that this link to a video is include in this list.

We should have been told about this for one and 2 i think that we should have the setting in the ACP to remove it if we like

APE: this has been here for about 2 years I believe.

Hmm really ?? i have not ever seen it before it only come to me having this problem the other day.

As Leeloo already mentioned it happens only for blacklisted words.

Either ways, is this solved?

As solved as it's going to be, I agree with Sanket though Captcha should be limited to guests and not forum staff...You may close the thread
