Editing the Latest Topics on Portal Page

I would like to move the latest topics from the left side of the portal page to the center and widen it to fit the rest of the content in the center. (600 or 700 px, whatever it is)
Is this possible?

I was also wanting to rename the menu items. Instead of it saying "Portal" I would like it to say the name of my forum, and instead of it saying "home" I would like it to say "forum" ect.

Any help will be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

You can move the last topic widget to the center in your administration panel:
Administration Panel > Modules > Portal & Widgets > Portal

Ah okay that was easy enough! I found it under "Structure" and was also able to change the name of the menu item there as well. So two birds with one stone. Thanks alot!

One more thing: Is there a way to edit the placement of the content within the Latest Topics widget?
For example: Move (by Admin Today at 9:26) to the far right of the widget instead of under the actual topic?

So somebody took the time to delete my bump but couldn't just answer the question while they were here?

If you add a code to changed that , it will also effect all the other widgets, too.
