Solved Account setup

Post by dbell525 April 10th 2013, 9:21 pm

Can I as an admin set up accounts for other people that are lets say, less than computer literate? I have two folks that claim to have tried to set up an account but couldn't complete. I changed the settings to eliminate the confirmation process(temporarily), but it would just be easier if I could take care of it for them. Any advice?

You can create accounts for them and provide them with passwords of their own. Not through the admin panel, you'll have to do it like a regular member.

I actually did try that for one of them. The problem was since he already tried, it said the email address was already in use. My guess for this one is he wasn't entering the captcha code correctly, but I'm not really sure. He gets easily frustrated it appears, lol.
