HTML for avatar

Just wondering if its possible to replace the URL link for avatar for HTML so I can customize it better. I tried using HTML in the URL upload bit but it says it is not valid

I don't think so. You can only upload you avatar in the following ways:

Upload an Avatar from your computer :

Upload an Avatar from a URL :

Link to an off-site Avatar :

Select your Avatar from our Gallery :

What I wanted to do is put a badge from facebook in the avatar but that requires coding, I cant simply link to it. I would put it in the sig but it looks silly

Why not edit the avatars? You can request it on the graphics section too.

Because this avatar is directly linked with facebook and will show my current status.

As I said I don't see this being possible, you can suggest it on the suggestion section if you want.
