Re: Email Notifications
Hi,
If you go to profile --> preferences --> Always notify me of replies --> Yes
Make sure that option is selected as yes.
Furthermore what email provider are you using as some don't accept forumotion I think.
Also make sure you also check your spam folder and any kind of blacklist you may have on your email settings to ensure it hasn't went to the spam folder or you haven't mistakenly added it to your blacklist or whatever your email provider calls it.

Hi,
I am on Talk Talk. This was never a problem before and I have logged on to my webmail account and nothing is showing there in spam, Inbox or otherwise. My Hotmail account works fine. Is there a way around this?
Thanks
Andy

Have you checked your forum profile and the preferences tab. You may have made a change on your profile in the forum you are on.

Re: Email Notifications
Sounds like it is webmail not receiving the messages then.
Not sure what can be done about that? The webmail is just a service provided through Web-cube when buying a domain.. so will have to find out if there is anywhere t contact them to ask.
Other then that i would just use a regular email. like you said your hotmail works then i would just continue to use that.. i have also noticed i do not receive certain things to my webmail at times as well.. but this would be something on web-cube end not forumotion so once again will have to see if there is somewhere to contact them.

Kirk,
This used to work before... so why doesn't it now? I get notifications about new members from both forums, just no post updates or PM's.....
Very strange...
Cheers

Re: Email Notifications
Hello,
Try to resync your forum first:
https://help.forumotion.com/t50777-resynchronizing-your-forum
Then wait if you'll receive e-mails after within 24 hours.
If it doesn't work, it might be a problem on the e-mail host, try changing your e-mail.

Re: Email Notifications
Hi all,
Seems to be a problem with TalkTalk and Forumotion. It is working fine with my Gmail account now I have swapped email addresses. Does anyone else have problems with their TalkTalk account and Forumotion. I get emailed about new members, just not PM or Thread updates. Very strange....
Cheers
