The youtube BBCode works over the flash BBCode which is already in the textarea editor, the syntax for it is following:

Code:
[flash(width,height)]link to flash object[/flash]

So to make a YouTube object which is 420px in width and 340px in height, you would type:

Code:
[flash(420,340)]http://youtube.com/watch/?v=...[/flash]

Seems quite easy for me!

Either way, if you want to do it differently, follow the link Sir Chivas provided Wink

It is easy for me too but I asked about Quick Reply editor not about main editor. It would be very nice of Sir Chivas to write here a clear tutorial about it.

If you follow and read all of the post on Avacaweb it gives you instructions, you could even join avacweb and ask questions relating to that tutorial if needs be.

I guess the only way would be for what Sir Chivas.

Or if you are good with template editing you can always go in find the youtube option from the main editor then add to your quick reply.

I will have to see how it can be done that way. pretty sure you can but will have to look to be sure, then if not i then i guess what Sir Chivas has said.

info added

Sir Chivas™️ wrote:Hi,

You can add a LGBBcode: http://www.avacweb.com/t428-13-create-new-bbcodes-with-new-lgbb

See this is not explaining what he wants unless you registers to see all the other bbcode the forum has. I amusing the youtube code would be provided but you would have to register first in order to see.

We do not allow links to places that you would have to register to first in order for someone to fix/resolve a problem they are asking.
Remember in the future if a links leads to something and is not open to the public for all to see without registration, then we do not allow such links as this here.

thanx Smile

from AvacWeb

(if you wish to read all the BBcodes I have added by using the power of LGBB, look here: http://www.avacweb.com/t432-bbcodes-available-on-avacweb). For example, it could allow you to add a BBcode such as [staffbox] which changes into a nice staff box when posted.
