Customize certain pages [Phpbb3] Empty Customize certain pages [Phpbb3]

Post by Sandara May 17th 2013, 04:13

Hi! I just wanna ask if there's a way to customize certain pages in Phpbb3 forums, like example when you search something and it's not in the "database" it'll show something you customized instead of the "Information: No topics or posts met your search criteria"...or customize the page that says "you can't access to this forum" or something. I hope you understand what I mean. Thanks!

I haven't seen anyway to customize what it says. There might be away to customize how it looks with CSS coding but I wouldn't know how. But I don't think you can change the message or anything like that.

I see. Thanks to your reply, Derri. But is there any way to even just edit how it looks so that it'll be a bit different from the rest of the layout of the forum (provided that i can't change the message...but if there's still a way to change the message other than how it looks, why not?)

You should be able to style it I see no reason why not. All you need to do is find the selectors. If you have firebug bring the page up again so you are viewing it and check the selectors with firebug.

Here's the selector for invision, I've customized the popup notification, so I'm just letting you know its doable. All you need to know is the css selector for phpbb3, although it might be the same as invision.

Code:
.popup {
}
