In progress Profile Background and Border Issues

Here is the link to my original problem: https://help.forumotion.com/t123353-missing-background-in-profile#823234

The problem is that there is no background behind the profile. (Fixed the left side in the previous topic.) The border does not line up with the border above.

Hi,

Add this into your CSS:
Code:
#ipbwrapper {
margin: 0 auto;
min-width: 768px;
padding: 5px;
text-align: left;
width: 924px;
background-color: #212121;
}

That gives the background, but the problem is that it goes to the very top and bottom of the forum. If that is the only way to fix this, I guess I'll have to keep it this way. Just doesn't look as nice. Or is there a way to override the background at the header and footer?

Is there a way to fix the border problem around the profile? I can apply the border to the #ipbwrapper, but that will only look good if I can overrider the header and footer.

I'll try to see what I can do, alright? Very Happy

Can you remove the code that I gave you? Add this one:
Code:
#profile-advanced-right {
float: right;
width: 304px;
background: rgb(34, 34, 34);
}

I finally found what goes behind the profile:
Code:
div#profile-advanced-layout{
  background-color: #222;
}
But when I tried to add the border, it becomes messed up. No clue why.

Can someone tell me why my background box turned from black, the color I set it to, to white?

I believe this is the new editor box default setting.

Appreciate the update Forumotion, but as with the above poster, the white does not work well with the colours of my forum.  How do we change the background colour of the editor box please?

How does the topic of the profile background deal with the new message box?
