User Unkickable

On a forum I administrate, I've found that if a user puts a comma in their username, they are unable to be kicked from the chatbox. They can be banned, but not kicked. Is there any way to filter out commas from usernames? The username word censor only allows 3-character terms.

How about change their name, and take the comma out? Sounds more simple.

Code Parsing terribly fails if the user has a comma in his name, yes, I have been experimenting with this for a while.

Easiest solution is to either modify the chatbox script by creating your own chatbox or to - as said above - change the username to exclude the comma.

i would post an announcement on the forum that user names with commas will not be permitted and all accounts with commas in their name will be deleted without notice.

You can always pm someone and tell them first as well, but would be best to announce this so members know not to have them in their user name.
