Multiple rank system possibility?
Good afternoon all,
Is it possible to have multiple rank systems on a forum?
For example, there would be three, X, Y and Z.
A user would opt to choose the Y tree and their ranks would follow a different structure and different names to X and Z. The Y tree would have Y1 at 10 posts, Y2 at 50 posts while X would have X1 at 10 posts, etc etc.
Is this at all possible?
Thanks for your time.

Hi,
You could read this tutorial: http://www.csshelp.net/t124-how-to-add-multiple-ranks
Then create a rank and set it at 10 posts then create another rank with two ranks and set it to 50 posts.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I'm not actually looking to give members multiple ranks each but more of an option of different rank trees. Just one rank each.

Oh then I don't think that's possible as the only way to automatically give someone a rank is through post count. Members can't select any kind of rank and therefore doing a rank tree probably isn't possible unless it was done through post count.

Oh, I still want to keep the current structure of giving a member a rank via post count. What I am interested in is different structures.

Well that's really the only way you can do it. You can't let members choose ranks or choose a path of ranks to follow.
You can either set them manually or give them via post count. Those are your only two options.
