Change the founder account

Hello guys, 

I am one of the 4 BOGs for PHL basically I take care of the forum and the league that we managed. We previously were 5 people, but 2 of them quit due to different reasons, one because he couldn't play the new schedule. He said that he's stepping down because he wasn't gonna do anything before the rest of the season. He was than suppose to give all of us access to the Admin account which was the founding account, so we can work on the forum design and stuff like that, but he never gave it to anyone. He put his personal information as the information for the PHL founding account, so no one else can get it. I've tried multiple times this past week to ask politely for it by xbox messages, private messages on the forums, but he refuses to give it to us. We needed it to make some changes for the forum design, but he just never replied anything until today when he told me he won't give it to us because apparently he is still owner of the league when he stepped down during the last week of the season when the other one who finally retired talked to him about it since he wasn't participating in any meeting, he wasn't giving any ideas, couldn't vote on the options we had for the league. I had no problem with waiting until he deletes one of the founders that created that admin account off the forum. Then he became a treat to the league, so I've decided to give him a chance to come talk to me and explain why he did it on xbox. The only thing he did was coming in the private chat system that xbox lives has and end it, so I didn't wanted to take any risk. So I banned all his IPs. I think he might be using some proxy servers to change his IP or he is just going on other Internets maybe? I don't know, but now we have no chance of getting the password back, but we need it to make the changes. We would prefer not having to do another website since the league already moved websites to much we think, but if we have to, we will just make a new one. I am one of the guys that cares more about this league, so hopefully you don't think im the bad guy in this situation. Like you can see by the majority of the posts I make its to try to get some activity going on the forums or to manage players fighting on it.

We are a 6 vs 6 NHL series league if you want to know.

- You can look around the website, he was clearly not active enough to be taken seriously as the owner... we basically did everything for him...

So you want to transfer the founder account to someone else?

If the admin (founder ) is still on the forum and don't wish to hand the forum over to you and don't want to log in then that is down to them No one has the right to take over a forum if the founder wants to keep it no matter who you are it's there forum they can do as they please sorry.

  Please change the title of your topic, that is related to your question/issue, so that other users will be able to find their question/issue using the search engine.

Correct.  The founder has all the rights.  You can only really get the founder account if the founder has not been on the forum for 6 months and 1 day.  The founder could give you the founder account information that is one way to change founders.
