Forum Maybe Hacked

Hallo everyone.My name is Sotos and I have problem withm my forum.Someone who isn't member in my forum watches my categories while i have them hidden from guest.what's happening?

It will say that, but they will only see this message:

"You are not connected" and the log in boxes.

But what I want to know is if they can read the contents of categories in my forum or not.

If you have it set for guests to not see it, they will not see the content.

If you want to test it, post a link to a hidden area on your forum.

All I see is the username and password boxes.

It could be that they've logged out while viewing a category and its given the impression that they're viewing a hidden section.

why don't you create a test account as a member so you can log in with it to see what your members do, or certain groups. as far as guest just log out and you will see what guest see when your not logged in Smile

If yo0u have permissions set for whatever groups or guest not see then they will not see it. but it is always best to have a test account so you can be sure all permissions are set as you want them. and once again anything for guest just log out .
