Hello , probably you don't have the groups made , go in :
Administration Panel -> Users & Groups -> Group Administration -> Create a New group :

The admin group the one with the crown is the default group with all the admin rights. If you want to add moderators you have to create a new group then assign it the privileges you want that group to have.

Create a new group: ACP --> Users and Groups --> Groups Administration --> Create a new group.

For moderation powers to that group go to ACP --> General --> Categories and Forums --> click this button next to the forums you want to add moderating permissions Perms

--> Click Advanced --> Check the box moderate

I did what you said and on General> forum > security > Disallow moderators to ban members : NO

but my moderator cant ban user

Peyman69,

If you want your moderators to have the power to ban members,you must tick the setting in you admin panel-Disallow moderator to ban member-No.

Also make sure under categories and forum settings(also in admin panel) that under each forum and sub-forum you have the setting moderate ticked. That then makes that group moderators. Though they won't be able to access the admin panel unless you also add them to the hidden admin group.
