Logo on phpBB3 dosent fit in diferent resolutions
Hey all,
Yesterday i did some changes to my forum, I removed the background color of the logo and I measured the width of the forums bar and made a logo in that size than upload it and it looked fine. At work I am using Mozilla Firefox and I have a smaller screen with a different resolution which now the forum adapted to the new resolution but not the Logo.
Is there a way to fix this or have I done something wrong!?

Hey Sir.Mayo,
thank you for your reply again,
actually it looks fine on your screen its exactly how I wanted it to fit. Now im not sure if it is the browser or what I guess Ill check that out at home again with different resolutions.
If theres no way to fix it well oh well, Ill just leave a note to the users on there and say to fix their resolution.

Yes, it appeared fine on my computer as well. Usually when designing banners you'd want to design them so they would look fine around 90-120% zoom. Any higher or lower zoom levels will usually just look small or stretch the screen to the image size. The screen on my laptop is 1600x900 and at those zoom levels it looks perfect.

Hey SethC.,
To be honest Im not much of a designer, I just thought of making something look nice for everyone.
At first I didn't fix the size at all I was depending on the forum to adapt the size on its own, than I realized that its only doing that vertically but wouldent manage the size horizontally. So There should probably be some sort of code there that could fix the issue of the dimensions.

You could possibly do that through scripting however, I'm not experienced in that. Though I've read a few things you could probably detect the users screen size/resolution and adjust the scale of the image, and margin of course since the image may overlap the navbar.
Example of CSS:
Example of CSS:
- Code:
#logo img{
transform:scale(1.200);
margin-bottom:10px
}
