Taggers Gone Mad
http://www.taggersgonemad.com/

I am trying to customize the colors for the New Topic Subject Line when a member makes a new post.

I would like to add a few new colors and remove the yellow and the bright red that is in the default colors.

I did find the instructions on how to do that here at this forum several months, but I can't find it now.

Could someone tell me how to customize those New Topic colors or direct me to the post that is already here? I've done several searches and cannot find the topic that I'm looking for here.

Thank you in advance.

Thanks, but that isn't what I'm looking for.

I want to go into the

Templates - Post & Private Messages - Posting Body

The colors used to be in the Posting Body Template and you could change those colors or add more. I can't find the codes at the Posting Body Template.

I did find this link here at this forum that explains how to change the colors, but I cannot find it in the template.
Here is the link I'm talking about...

Warning!
this tutorial can only be used with Template Editing enabled forums.
Only PunBB and PHPBB2 have template editing thus far.

I am using phpBB2, but as I look at that tutorial, I'm thinking that those are the codes that go in the message body and not in the New Topic subject line.

I know it can be done because I had my forum set up with custom colors, but they got set back to default colors where there are only the bright red, dark red, yellow, white, grey, blue, and black...I'm thinking those are the colors for the New Topic line.

I really want to change those colors and remove the bright red and yellow as well as the white.

Here is all that I can find in the posting_body under Post & Private Messages Template...

{switch_subject.switch_subject_color.TOPIC_TITLE_COLOR_OPTIONS}

I haven't made any changes yet. I'm still awaiting an answer on how to change the default colors.

This could also be in your CSS.

I've looked in the CSS and can't find anything about changing the New Topic colors.

The codes that I posted above are copied from the Post_body codes. It looks like it runs from java script to me. Is there any way that can be edited to where I can add my own colors?

I am not trying to change all the colors on my forum...Only the New topic. You know when a member clicks New Topic to post a New Topic...there is a drop down menu there with color options...that is what I'm trying to change.
