How come images won't appear and Quick Reply going bonkers?
Okay, before anyone says anything, I didn't include in my old version of "How come images won't appear?" thing that I noticed that the images and quick-reply button went all bonkers.
https://help.forumotion.com/t127681-how-come-images-won-t-appear#853562 It should give details.
At first, I ignored it with the whole domain thing UNTIL Irate mentioned that the forum recognizes them as links instead of image links. I already posted in my academy there's a round about way in doing the whole images thing, but that's going to consume a LOT of space in my CSS and I don't want that nor does anyone want it. Especially since we are a dueling forum and images are one of our top priorities in posting.
Anyway, as I said, I noticed the change when the domain name changed because I left one post before I mass deleted the other posts and realized that when the domain changed, the picture disappeared. The post can be found here: http://medievalchaos.forumtl.com/t2459-happy-birthday
Yes, it has a signature where it states "Happy Birthday MCA" on it and it's really weird because it appeared BEFORE the domain changed.
I already tried reverting the templates back to default but the results still came out the same and I don't exactly want to move my forum into another page unless of course, you people can provide a solution where the bugs would be dissolved.
To top it of, I also made the codes back to normal AFTER I edited them when the domain expired, now, my question is, does the change in my domain disables the forum from recognizing the usual links? Because in runawayhorses's statement, it does have a bit of a problem with imgur but I also tried it with servimg, so I don't know what's up with everything now because me and Irate kept looking at the codes and I kept on reversing the processes but still nothing happened.
Please help . Thanks .

Hello Kaizer Lee,
Can you allow guests to see images in that forum?
I see this right now:

Done, I also noticed that when I was transferring the codes in the new forum (In case we had to move), I noticed that the "Chaos Goddess" script deteriorates the quick-reply which is a part of the problem since the only part of the quick reply that shows is the box without the editor itself.
http://medievalchaos.forumtl.com/t2497-thunderchidori-s-intro#13350 <--- Show's Chaos Goddess. And this time, I'm pretty sure that the problem with the quick reply's in the script since that's the only thing I moved to the new forum at the moment.
As for the images, I'm still working on it and it'll be awesome if you can help
Edit: In the link I provided above, I stated there that there's a Template which is viewtopic_body. I also used that in the other forum and it has the same effect as the script does. I guess it has something to do with Chaos Goddess for the quick reply then :s. Can you fix the templates and the javascript cause I barely have an idea anymore. I'll look into the images so yeah, but I'm not sure if I can fix it myself too.
Last Edit: Okay, this is officially weird. Yeah, there really must be a problem with the domain . I put in the error script and template and the ones really affected is only the quick-reply button/editor. I already cleared my cache, cookies, forum cookies, etc. but none would work so yeah, can someone help with the whole domain thing?
Method to fix Quick-reply: Fix the script and template
Method to fix the appearances of images: Idk... domain or w.e ._.
- Code:
$(function(){
var intro_name = 'Introductions :: Farewells';
var page = 'Page';
var reg = document.title.indexOf('- ' + page + ' ') === -1;
if(document.getElementById('forum-breadcrumbs').innerHTML.indexOf(intro_name) > 0 && reg) {
var x = document.getElementById('intro-post');
$(x.nextSibling).after(x);
x.style.display = '';
}
});

Re: How come images won't appear and Quick Reply going bonkers?
Have you tried disabling JavaScript temporarily to see if any of the scripts are causing this?
You can do that by going to..
Administration Panel > Modules > HTML & JAVASCRIPT > Javascript codes management
Tick 'no' and save.
Afterwards check your forum to see if any of these bugs have cleared up, if they do you'll have to disable each script one by one to rule out the culprit.

Re: How come images won't appear and Quick Reply going bonkers?
Well, I would've if it weren't for the fact I also checked it in my other forum while transferring the codes. I noticed that for the Quick-reply, the main problem really was in the whole template of viewtopic_body and when I tried combining the old version and the new version, this one intercepts it:
On a side note to the images, I also checked, there's no problem with the codes since it appears in my other forum, whether the "Chaos Goddess" script and template still resides.
Please, if an admin can help solve this issue with the whole image thing, please do because we don't want to transfer the forum. Thanks .

etc

Yes, and based of the skin too. Mind if I ask, does a change in domain actually has a change in the recognition of links considering that my friends and I cannot answer this since we don't have access to the complete forumotion codes.
As for the Chaos Goddess, LG and Irate found out there was a problem with the code:
If you can answer that question, please do because I don't want to waste my time in hoping :s
