Problem with the additional emoticons; can't upload new emoticons

Hi,

I have some problems with the emoticons on my forum. The members began to complain a days ago - they don't see pictures and emoticons and today the same thing happened to me also, although I had not have that kind of problem earlier.

I tried to replace the old emoticons with the new ones, but forummotion does not allow me to upload anything (regarding the emoticons), so I had to put default emoticons, because only they are allowed and there is no problem with them. So I would like to know what's the problem and how it can be solved.

Have you followed these steps?

Administration Panel > Display > Avatars > Similies> Legend> Add a new similie > Smilies Configuration


Similie Code: type here something like ; ))
Smilie Emotion : i.e cheerful
Category : i.e Similie 1
Smilie Image File : upload the similie from your pc

yes, but now i can't upload emoticon. it seems like the server where forumotion put additional emoticons don't work.







look at the picture 3. everytime when in use is some additional emoticon there is "loading... loading..." when i come in some topic with pictures in the posts, there is loading too... "waiting for r28.imgfast.net". there is the problem, i can't see emoticons, pictures.

and yesterday i have deleted every additional emoticon. now i am using default emoticons, with them there are no problems. but i don't like default emoticons, members of my forum too.... and when i try to upload some new additional emoticon that present a big problem.

Looks like it's either an internet access problem, maybe you should retart your pc or because the images are .gif, they could be slower to upload... or both.

Can you try uploading a .jpeg image and see if it also slow to upload?

Try it now and see if they can be uploaded.

yes, yesterday i have successfully uploaded new emoticons. and they are working fine for me and the majority of members. two members still are unable to see emoticons and some pictures, but probably problem is in them.
