How do I close a forum, with a message on the front?
Similar to leaving a message as the forum is under construction, can that be done if you close/disable the forum? If so, how do I do this?
If not, is there a way to increase the number of days in which a forum is under co?

Re: How do I close a forum, with a message on the front?
Administration Panel > General > Forum > Configuration
Forum in construction: Yes
Then a box should appear to set the days.
There should be a text editor below this to enter a message.

Thank you, but I already know this. I was hoping that there was a larger amount of days in which the forum can stay under construction.SLGray wrote:Administration Panel > General > Forum > Configuration

Enter the number of days in the box that appears when you check the yes box.

Have you tried using the holiday option and adding a message to the homepage message?

Re: How do I close a forum, with a message on the front?
Yes, of course. Currently I've left a message, once I set up the Under co. feature. But it only lasts for 7 days, and I need more than that. I want to be able to either set up the days I want.
For the Holiday feature, it doesnt change anything other than disallowing members to register.

Re: How do I close a forum, with a message on the front?
Right now that is the only option. You will have to log in and reset the days.
