blink BBcode Not working anymore

Hi FM just to let you know the bbcode Blink no longer works on my forum
Code im using is
<blink>.......... this text should blink</blink>

Make sure that if you're using it like that that HTML is enabled.

Otherwise it'd be:

[blink][/blink]

Furthermore, the blink attribute is becoming obsolete with HTML5, so depending on your browser it might not work anyway.

its used in a java code it was working before the new editer was put inplace.
