Profile Commas

Post by Tinboh on February 12th 2014, 7:36 am

Hey there, me again!

So I was adding some profile fields on my site, and for one of them I'd like it so that I would be able to use commas in order to separate some of the numbers. I selected the "Comma Number" option for that field, but whenever I put a comma in it automatically turns into a decimal point/period.

Is there any other way to add commas or maybe fix this problem?

Please and thank you!

What exactly are you using the profile field for?

Ah. I'm using it for a currency used throughout the site. It's a roleplay site so it can be used to purchase items and such. The numbers we're using are quite large, so instead of having say, "50000", i'd like to make it a tad more neat and make it "50,000", in the profile. And basically what it looks like is "50.000", which is practically just fifty and not fifty thousand.

Try using the text option one.

The comma number option also changed the comma to a period on my forum.

Yeah, using text zone works just fine. Thanks, I don't know why I just didn't try multiple options. :\
