Question, if the avatar image has been resized to 150x200, will the new avatar be resized?

Could we have an option to disallow the use of this feature through the ACP? I want to encourage creative and unique avatars on my forum, and would rather not have these avatars everywhere. People may still use them if they wish, I'd just rather not have a direct link right there.

You can deactivate the option here:

Administration Panel > Display > Avatars

There is an search engine update: link to your forum to a Google +1 page.

I have a google +1 page and I can't figure out what adding the link to the Admin Panel is supposed to do. When I added the link nothing happened to my google +1 page. So I removed the link from the admin panel and disabled the feature, and manually added my forum link to my google page. I just don't get what that google +1 feature is supposed to do. I'm not concerned about it really because I have my forum link verified in google webmaster tools search engine and Bing, and google +1 pages are not a big deal at all, most people are using twitter and facebook which I have my forum linked up to professionally. All the posts (new topics) my forum gets are automatically posted to twitter & facebook automatically with a return link to the topic.Search engines can pick up on those links too.

Not to cheapen forumotions update with google +1, but I feel google +1 pages are suffering from 'lack of interest' by the public. But it doesn't hurt to add your link to one.

Maybe you don't like it, but other people do. How do you know that Forumotion isn't already looking at making those kind of updates that you mentioned?

Looks like I made my previous post in the wrong topic, my apologies.

On this new Avatar maker feature, I disabled it because I never have liked those kind of graphics. They irritate me for some reason with the way they all look so cartoonist, but whatever floats your boat.

You have to create an account (FaceYourManga) to get the other options. This option does not have the full library.
